Project Analyst

This position is responsible for the direct engagement in utility-scale solar project estimation, blueprint analysis, quote generation, and translation to production orders. This candidate will collaborate with project manager(s), operations personnel, and customers with a focus on maximizing Sun-Pull’s flexibility, responsiveness, and service in the market. This candidate works closely in a cross-functional setting with the Sun-Pull sales, operations, and leadership teams to identify impactful opportunities while providing continuous feedback, ideas, and problem-solving analysis to support Sun-Pull’s strategic growth plan. Job Responsibilities:

• Prepares for analysis by gathering and reviewing blueprints, specifications, and related documents
• Identifies labor, material, and project requirements and develops estimates for review with team
• Identifies discrepancies or gaps in information to be reviewed and aligned with customers
• Presents professional estimates from blueprint analysis with use of Excel, pdf’s, and other software tools
• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
• Maintains monthly financials and inventory plans in MS Office 365 Business Central
• Develops technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Preferred: performs regression analysis on estimation models and derives key variables for improved accuracy and expediency of quoting process

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree, with concentration preferred in Data science, business analysis, or engineering
• Ability to read blueprints and develop cost estimates
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes preferred, especially electrical
• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and Business Central a plus, CAD a plus
• Lean Green Belt certification a plus
